With shops like The Enchanted Gallery, Thinker Things and the Silver Skillet, Flower Hill Promenade has been described as “quaint.” Whether it will remain so depends on the outcome of a disagreement over how much larger the mall near the corner of I-5 and Via de la Valle should grow.

Angry Del Mar Homeowners Lash Out Against Mall Expansion

Some Del Mar homeowners have launched a Web site and hired an attorney to fight the expansion of a nearby mall that they say will add pollution, crime, noise and congestion to the area, 10News reported.
